Sulan Wu has a diverse work experience spanning several different companies and roles. Currently, they are working as a Partnerships Lead at Molecular Instruments. Prior to this, they held the position of Hixon Writing Center Peer Tutor at Caltech from March 2020 to August 2021, as well as participating in the Caltech Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship. In 2019, they worked as the Nathan Schnaper Intern in Translational Cancer Research at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. At Oberlin College, Sulan held multiple positions including Career Peer Advisor at the Career Development Center, Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant, General Chemistry Teaching Assistant, and Outreach Officer for the Student Finance Committee. They also served as the Co-chair of the Oberlin College Chapter of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA). Additionally, Sulan worked as a SURF Undergraduate Research Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in 2018.
Sulan Wu completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry with a 3-2 Engineering track and Pre-medical focus at Oberlin College from 2016 to 2019. Sulan further pursued their education at Caltech from 2019 to 2021, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering with a minor in Computer Science.
