Sara LeMar

Scientist at Molecular Templates

Sara LeMar has a diverse range of work experience. Sara started their career as a Cashier at Target from May 2013 to August 2015. Sara then worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Temple University Department of Microbiology and Immunology, where they investigated the role of pCF10 in opportunistic pathogen E. faecalis from January 2016 to August 2016. Sara also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Temple University Department of Neuroscience, where they investigated the role of the receptor cFMS in the central nervous system and NeuroAIDS therapeutics from September 2016 to May 2017.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Sara joined Molecular Templates as a Research Associate I, Cell Biology from July 2017 to July 2018. Sara then progressed to the position of Research Associate II, Immunology from July 2018 to June 2020, and subsequently became a Senior Research Associate, Tumor Immunology from June 2020 to the present day. Sara's most recent role at Molecular Templates is as a Scientist, which they started in July 2022 and will end in May 2023.

Starting in 2023, Sara will begin working at Leander ISD as a High School Science Teacher.

Sara LeMar obtained their Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Temple University from 2013 to 2017. Following that, they pursued an educational certification at Austin Community College from 2021 to 2024. This certification encompasses Teacher Certification in Science 7-12, with ESL and SpEd supplementals. Additionally, Sara obtained the People Manager Qualification (PMQ) from SHRM in December 2022.
