Micaela Gray's work experience begins in 2014 when they worked as a Meat Product Development Technician at Sofina Foods Inc. In 2015, they served as a Student Ambassador and a Scientific Research & Experimental Development Intern at Canada Revenue Agency. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at the University of Guelph, first as an Undergraduate Research Project participant, then as a Chemistry & Toxicology Teaching Assistant, and finally as a Graduate Student Researcher, where they developed a patented DNA-labelling technique. In 2019, they joined Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada as a Research Technician / Lab Manager, specializing in multi-residue analysis of mycotoxins in Canadian cereal grains. Currently, they are working as a Medical Communications Writer at MolecuLight, where they translate complex research into high-quality digital content.

Micaela Gray has a strong educational background in the field of science. Micaela completed their Biomedical Visualization and Communication Certificate from The University of British Columbia in 2022. Prior to that, Micaela pursued an MSc degree in Chemistry + Toxicology at the University of Guelph from 2017 to 2018. Micaela also holds a BSc degree in Honors Toxicology (Co-op), which they obtained from the University of Guelph from 2012 to 2016. Micaela's education focuses on toxicology and chemistry, with a recent interest in biomedical visualization and communication.
