Toni Niemela

Toni Niemela has extensive experience in global operations, operations management, and supply chain management. Toni is currently serving as the Director of Global Operations at Molex Connected Enterprise Solutions. Prior to this, Toni worked as the Director of Operations/COO at Northvolt and played a key role in building a next-generation lithium-ion battery factory with a focus on sustainability. Toni also served as the Director of Production at HOMAG, where they led digitized production solutions for the woodworking industry. Before that, Toni was an Operations Manager at ABB and an Engineering Director at Dell EMC. Toni began their career at Nokia, where they held various positions including Global Factory Network Manager and Manager of Operational Development. Throughout their career, Toni has demonstrated expertise in change management, operational excellence, and driving efficiency in manufacturing processes.

Toni Niemela has a Master's degree in Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management from The University of Salford. Prior to that, they obtained a Specialist Qualification in Technology in Telecommunications Engineering from Technical College, Oulu. In addition to their formal education, Toni Niemela also holds certifications in Business Leadership Coaching and Lean Six Sigma.
