Bret Marschand

Bret Marschand is a seasoned product development executive currently serving as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Molex since October 2017, leading efforts in electronic solutions, cable assemblies, and low power connectors for the Power and Signal Business Unit. Prior to this role, Bret spent over 16 years at Newell Brands in various R&D director positions, where strategic initiatives were implemented to enhance engineering practices, manage a centralized design engineering team, and oversee technology pipelines for prominent brands. Earlier career experiences include product engineering roles at Ignite Design and Haworth, with notable achievements such as patent contributions and significant sales impact through innovative product designs. Bret holds a Master's degree in Product Development from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Inventive Design Engineering from Purdue University, as well as completing the Executive Development Program at Harvard Business School.
