Nitish Soman

Nitish Soman is an experienced manufacturing engineer currently serving as an Advance Manufacturing Integration Engineer at Molex since February 2022. In this role, Nitish focuses on reducing operator count and cycle times for Final Assembly & Testing Process Lines while leading the development of automated manufacturing systems for vehicle phone chargers using lean techniques. Prior to this position, Nitish worked at AGCO Corporation as a Manufacturing Engineer, where productivity was significantly enhanced through the implementation of production routings and material flow optimization. Additional experience includes roles at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Mr. Transmission/Milex, Esmech Equipment in India, Dimension Mechanix Pvt. Ltd., and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, focusing on process improvement, lean manufacturing practices, and engineering analysis. Nitish holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
