Said Mendez

Said Mendez is a highly experienced operations leader in the manufacturing sector, currently serving as the Director of Operations for the Automotive Business Unit at Molex since October 2022. In this role, Said manages a wide range of functions including Environment Health and Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, and Human Resources, and has successfully launched a Safety program aimed at eliminating OSHA recordable incidents. Previously, Said held various positions at SKF Group from 2001 to 2022, including Plant Manager and Senior Manager in Operations, where key achievements included integrating acquired plants into SKF’s systems and developing strategies to enhance operational performance. Said holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from State University Puebla.
