Mike P Wilson

Mike P Wilson is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Molina Healthcare. In this role, they oversees information security, business continuity/DR and related IT risk & compliance management activities across business units to protect the Corporation’s and Customers’ information assets and digital products. This includes responsibility for the quality and secure development of technology and digital products and services sold to customers.

Wilson has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, including 10 years in various leadership roles in information security. Prior to joining Molina Healthcare, they were the Senior Vice President & Global CISO at McKesson Corporation from May 2008 to July 2017. In this role, they were responsible for establishing a pan-McKesson Cyber Security Strategy and IT risk management function, as well as achieving industry product security benchmarks and deploying leading SDLC practices for 40+ development organizations. Mike also supported McKesson's 'Big Data' initiatives by providing data de-identification services (Synthetic Data) to allow secondary use analytics of regulated patient health information without compromising patient confidentiality.

Wilson holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Mike P Wilson has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Health from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Commmerce from Victoria University of Wellington.
