Grande Nicola

Grande Nicola has extensive experience in the beer industry. Grande is currently working as the Head Brewer at Molino Spadoni Spa since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at Nix Italian Craft Beer from September 2017. At Nix, they received several awards, including a silver medal at the European Beer Star 2021 and Brussels Beer Challenge 2021.

Before joining Nix, Grande Nicola worked as a brewery consultant and a beer specialist consultant at self-employed and Milestone-Helping Chemists, respectively. Grande also served as the Pub Manager at Nix Beer, where they managed the opening of the pub, customer relations, and employee training.

Grande Nicola was the Head Brewer at Qubeer srl from July 2020 to October 2021, where they led a brewery startup and received a gold medal at the Brussels Beer Challenge 2020. Grande also worked as the Head Brewer at Etnia Birra Italiana from March 2015 to August 2017, where they oversaw new beer line design, production management, and cleaning and sanitization processes.

Additionally, Grande Nicola has experience as a Head Brewer Consultant at Beijing HanFan Tech Co.Ltd from November 2016 to March 2017, and as the Head Brewer of Birrificio Settimo brewpub Siebter Himmel from January 2012 to February 2015. Grande was responsible for the entire brewing process, from recipe design to packaging and kegging.

Before entering the beer industry, Grande Nicola worked as an IT consultant at AGS spa from April 2006 to January 2012.

Grande Nicola completed their education in a chronological manner. Grande attended Università degli Studi di Bari from 1994 to 1999, where they studied Chemistry. Following this, they obtained a diploma di perito industriale capotecnico from Itis Luigi dell'Erba Castellana Grotte, although the exact years of attendance are not specified.
