Mollie
Mihaela Gabriela Ciobotaru is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer currently at Mollie since October 2018, where Mihaela has progressed from software engineer to senior software engineer and now engineering manager. Prior to this role, Mihaela contributed as a software developer at eMAG from August 2016 to October 2018, focusing on scalable communication systems and reusable code development. Mihaela also served as a mentor for Portuguese Women in Tech from April to July 2022, and worked as a software developer at Danco Vision Interactive, developing web applications for educational and e-commerce sectors. Mihaela began a career in software development with an internship at eMAG, where features were developed for a user behavior-based product recommendation web application. Mihaela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Bucharest, earned between 2013 and 2016.
