Rares Mirica is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development, database administration, and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Sr. Staff Engineer at Mollie since September 2020, Rares previously held key roles at Booking.com, including Principal Developer and Sr. Database Administrator, where impactful contributions were made by introducing new BigData technologies and automating MySQL deployments. Earlier experiences include leading a QA team at Machteamsoft, developing web applications, and managing systems at various companies, including Bakemono and AD First Company.
