Tom Kenny, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor, Chair, and Program Director in the Communications, New Media, and Art Department at Molloy University since September 2008. As a tenured faculty member, Tom teaches various courses related to television studies and production, including serial television, screenwriting, field production, video editing, social media, media literacy, and communications research. Additionally, Tom has served as an Adjunct Instructor and was previously the Director of Media Facilities, overseeing the operations of the television studio and media lab while assisting students with equipment operation and video editing. Prior to Molloy University, Tom was an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University in the Radio, Television, & Film Department. Tom holds a Ph.D. and MPhil in Information Science/Studies, along with a Master of Arts in Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, complemented by an Associate in Applied Science in Video Arts and Technology.
