Devin Ertel

Devin Ertel is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at Moloco since October 2025 and serves as a Venture Advisor at YL Ventures from 2021 onward. Previously, Devin held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Menlo Security Inc. until October 2025 and was the Governing Body Co-Chair at Evanta, a Gartner Company, during the same timeframe. Devin also served as Chief Information Security Officer at Blackhawk Network from June 2018 to August 2021, leading security initiatives at a global financial technology firm. Prior experience includes heading Security & IT at Guidebook Inc. from June 2015 to June 2018 and managing security consulting at Mandiant under Google Cloud from April 2014 to June 2015. Devin began professional endeavors as an Information Security Manager at the Federal Reserve System from September 2009 to April 2014 and co-founded RedTeam Security, where the role included strategic direction and new business development. Earlier work as a Senior Security Engineer involved providing consulting services for major corporations. Devin holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
