Alex Dunster

Alex Dunster has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Alex started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Assistant and worked their way up to Assistant Manager. Alex then joined Rolls-Royce Power Ventures Ltd as a Project Accountant and later became the Senior Projects Accounts Manager for Europe and Asia.

In 2002, Alex joined Diageo Plc as a Finance Manager in the Global Corporate division. Alex was responsible for monthly performance reporting and financial stewardship of various entities. Alex also implemented forecasting processes and assessed the implications of new accounting rules.

Alex then moved on to various roles within Diageo, including Planning & Reporting Manager for Diageo Europe, Commercial Finance Manager in Global Travel Retail - Europe, and Head of Finance - Procurement Category Excellence. Alex provided decision support, drove planning and reporting processes, and managed teams.

In 2013, Alex joined Kao Corporation as the Director of FP&A for the EMEA region. Alex held this position until 2019 when they joined Molton Brown as the Global FP&A Director. In this role, Alex leads the finance team, partners with leadership teams, and develops plans to achieve sales and profit targets.

Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated strong financial leadership, business partnering skills, and the ability to drive decision-making and process improvements.

Alex Dunster attended St Olaves Grammar School from 1984 to 1991. After completing secondary school, Alex enrolled at the University of Nottingham from 1991 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Biochemistry and Biological Chemistry and graduated with a 2.1 classification.
