Hallie Ringle

Curator At Large at MoMA PS1

Hallie Ringle is an accomplished curator with extensive experience in contemporary art. Currently serving as Curator at Large for MoMA PS1 since January 2021 and as the Hugh Kaul Curator of Contemporary Art at the Birmingham Museum of Art since 2018, Ringle has a notable background in curatorial roles. Previous positions include Assistant Curator and Senior Curatorial Assistant at The Studio Museum in Harlem from 2013 to 2018, and Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for the Art of Africa and its Diasporas from 2012 to 2013. Ringle's early career involved various curatorial internships and roles, including at the Museum for African Art and the McColl Center for Visual Art. Ringle holds a Master of Arts in Art History with a focus on African Art from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
