Kunbi Oni

Kunbi Oni is an accomplished Collections Specialist in Acquisitions at The Museum of Modern Art, a role held since August 2015, and also serves as the Department Coordinator for the Office of the General Counsel. In addition, Kunbi Oni has been a faculty member at the School of Visual Arts since January 2009, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in photography and video. Other significant experiences include working as a Paralegal at Elston Law Studio, a Curatorial Consultant at Stux Gallery, and serving as an adjunct faculty member at various institutions including The Pratt Institute and City College, focusing on art history and African art. An M.A. graduate in History of Art from SOAS University of London and holder of an LLB Honors from the University of Buckingham, Kunbi Oni also contributed to scholarly discussions as a panelist for the Society of Architectural Historians and as a lecturer and reviewer on topics surrounding African art.
