Exhibition Manager at MoMA

Lizzie Henderson has an extensive background in museum exhibition management and curatorial roles, currently serving as the Exhibition Manager at The Museum of Modern Art since September 2010. In this position, Lizzie leads cross-functional teams to manage multiple exhibitions, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Previous roles include managing the Department of Media and Performance Art, where team leadership and operational oversight were key responsibilities, and being actively involved in PopRally planning to engage younger audiences. Lizzie's earlier experience includes curatorial support with the Chief Curator at Large and administrative roles within the Department of Painting and Sculpture at MoMA, having initially started as a 12-month intern. Prior to MoMA, Lizzie gained valuable experience as a Curatorial Intern and Research Assistant at the Walker Art Center. Lizzie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of St. Thomas.
