Timur Yusufzai

Timur Yusufzai has a long and varied work experience. Timur began their career in 2004 as a Postdoc at the University of California at San Diego. In 2010, they moved to Harvard Medical School/Dana Farber Cancer Institute, where they were an Assistant Professor until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Sponsored Investigator at Dana-Farber/Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR). Timur then worked as a Visiting Scholar at FogPharma from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they became an Entrepreneur In Residence at Third Rock Ventures, and in 2020 they founded MOMA Therapeutics. Most recently, they have been a Co-Founder at Episode One Labs since 2022.

Timur Yusufzai obtained a BS in Biology from Allegheny College and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the National Institutes of Health/The George Washington University.
