George Benson

George Benson is an experienced museum professional with a diverse background in education, social media management, and curatorial practices. Currently serving as an Assistant Educator at The Museum of Modern Art since April 2023, George previously held the position of Social Media Manager at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, where a focus on accessible and inclusive content was emphasized. Previous roles include tour guiding for Oscar Wilde Tours, developing LGBTQ-themed virtual tours, and contributing to various exhibitions and projects at prestigious institutions such as The British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. George has also co-chaired MuseumPrideLDN, advocating for LGBTQ representation in museums, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of London.
