Peter Fernandez is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with a robust background in technology and investment. Currently serving as Co-founder and CEO of MOMBAK since May 2021, Peter is focused on establishing the company as the world's largest carbon removal entity through reforestation efforts in the Amazon. With a wealth of experience as a startup investor and advisor for over 20 startups in Brazil and the US, Peter previously held significant roles such as CEO of 99, where a successful turnaround led to the company becoming Brazil's first unicorn and its subsequent acquisition by DiDi Chuxing at a $1B valuation. Additional notable positions include Chief Product Officer at Google and Head of Latin America at AdMob, which was acquired by Google for $750M. Peter's educational background includes a B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, an Executive Program from Singularity University, and completion of the Design Thinking Executive Education Bootcamp at Stanford University.
