Marc-André Paquet has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Marc-André started their career as a Programmer/Analyst at the University of Montreal, where they developed a simulator for an assembler course. Marc-André then worked as a Multimedia Specialist at SGI and later as a Programmer/Analyst at Netic Hypermédia. In 1993, Marc-André began working as a Consultant, primarily as a PHP programmer and composer/record producer. During this time, they also composed and produced the soundtrack for a documentary, which won a diversity Gemeau Prize in 2010. In 1996, Marc-André became the President of Mes Aieux Inc., a company that owned the sound recording copyright of the musical group Mes Aieux. Marc-André also played an important administrative role within the company and acted as a co-producer for the band's tour. Marc-André has a long-standing career as a musician, composer, co-producer, and sound engineer for Mes Aieux, spanning from 1990 to 2013. Currently, they are working at Moment Factory, a company specializing in multimedia installations, where their roles include Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, and Operations Technical Support Director. Their responsibilities at Moment Factory have included managing research programs, creating quality assurance programs, and supervising the development of interactive gaming systems.
