Alex Stankie

Alex Stankie has a wealth of experience in the sports industry. Starting in 2004, they worked as an instructor at Calema Windsurfing, teaching windsurfing, sailing, and paddleboarding. Alex then moved to Big Winds in 2009, where they worked as a windsurfing instructor, retail salesperson, and event coordinator. In 2006, they joined Bonnier Corporation as a Digital Editor for ISLANDS, and then as a Technical Editor for Windsurfing Magazine. In 2009, they became the Marketing Manager for North America and the Caribbean at Next Sports LLC. In 2017, they took on a part-time role as a Ski Instructor at Mt. Hood Meadows Resort. Finally, in 2018, they were appointed as the Product Team Lead at Moment.

Alex Stankie attended the University of Central Florida from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Advertising & Public Relations, Digital Media, Computer Science, Global Studies, and Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, they attended Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School from 2003 to 2009, earning their High School degree.
