Xiang Liu

Director, Global Product - Ceramic Powders & Shapes at Momentive Technologies

Xiang Liu has a strong background in ceramics and materials science, with experience in both product development and application engineering. Xiang started their career at GE Advanced Materials as a Materials Scientist, conducting research on carbon doped pyrolytic boron nitride. Xiang then joined Momentive Performance Materials, where they held various roles including Lead Application Development Engineer and Application Development Leader, focusing on the development of thermal management products and overseeing the production cycle. In their most recent role as Director of Global Product at Momentive Technologies, Xiang Liu was responsible for the product strategy and profitability of a diversified ceramics powder and shapes portfolio, working closely with all functional areas within the company and managing key customer relations globally.

Xiang Liu earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, which they attended from 1996 to 2003.
