Christopher Powhida

Christopher Powhida, MBA, boasts extensive experience in technology and process management within the chemical industry. Currently serving as the Director of the Technology Center of Excellence at Momentive since December 2007, Christopher leads global technology business process definition and optimization. Prior roles at Momentive include Global Program Leader and Basic Process Technology Manager, where Christopher delivered significant productivity gains and new product sales. Before joining Momentive, Christopher spent over 18 years at General Electric Silicones in various engineering and management roles, achieving Six-Sigma blackbelt certification and supporting substantial business segments in new product development and quality improvements. Christopher began the career at Kraft General Foods as a Process Engineer after earning a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University at Albany.
