David Schlitzer

David Schlitzer is a seasoned professional in polymer science and engineering, currently serving as Global Technology Leader at Momentive since September 2015, where David has held various leadership roles including Process Technology Manager and Sr. Technology Program Leader. David's prior experience includes work as a Process Chemist at GE Silicones, where a continuous process for release coatings was developed, and at Vantico, where optimization of the bismaleimide lab process led to significant cost savings. Earlier, David contributed as a Product Developer at Ciba Specialty Chemicals, achieving considerable savings through quality improvements in bismaleimide products. David holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a B.S. in Polymer Chemistry from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
