Jan Geboers

Jan Geboers is an experienced professional currently serving as the Global Head of Technology Healthcare at Momentive since January 2014. In this role, Jan oversees technology activities across various healthcare market verticals, leading a global team of scientists to develop innovative products that cater to the needs of healthcare customers. Prior to this position, Jan held roles including Head of Technical Service & Application Development EMEAI, Laboratory Manager, Laboratory Supervisor, and Advanced Scientist at Momentive, focusing on silicone elastomers. Jan's earlier career involved postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research, specializing in the valorization of lignin and biomass into valuable chemicals. Jan earned a PhD in Surface Chemistry and Catalysis from the University of Leuven and has additional qualifications in Rubber Technology from Leibniz Universität Hannover, along with a distinction in Bioscience Engineering from KU Leuven.
