Matthew Titus

Matthew Titus is an experienced professional in the field of Chemical Engineering with a strong academic background from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, holding both a Ph.D. and a Bachelor of Science degree. Currently an Adjunct Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Matthew teaches courses in Chemical Process Dynamics & Control and Chemical Process Design since May 2017. Simultaneously, Matthew has served as a Process Technology Engineer at Momentive since June 2015, focusing on chemical process modeling, design, and advanced process control. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from August 2010 to December 2015, where work centered on BitTorrent-inspired management of residential distributed energy resources, and as an Engineering Intern at Corning Incorporated from May 2008 to August 2010, developing software tools for advanced optical systems.
