Kara Derrick

Kara Derrick is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in the accounting field. Currently serving as a Senior Tax Accountant at Momentum since January 2025, Kara previously held similar positions at EYEY from February 2021 to January 2025, starting as a Tax Intern and advancing to Staff Tax Accountant and then Senior Tax Accountant. Educationally, Kara earned a Master's in Accounting from Texas A&M University in January 2022, following a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the same institution, completed in January 2022. Additionally, Kara has experience as a tutor with Texas A&M Athletics from August 2019 to May 2022.
