Soumya Das

Soumya Das is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Strategy and Insights at Momentum Energy since June 2025. Prior to this role, Soumya held various leadership positions at ZEN Energy, including General Manager Risk and General Manager of Product and Process Innovation from July 2022 to May 2025. At AGL Australia, from April 2008 to July 2022, Soumya was responsible for managing pricing and forecasting for wholesale and business customers, contributing significantly to financial risk management and strategic development. Soumya's earlier experience includes roles at Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys, focusing on application development. Soumya holds a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Diploma of Financial Markets from the Australian Financial Markets Association, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur.
