Dr Thandeka Maphumulo

Dr. Thandeka Maphumulo, MBA, serves as a Medical Doctor at Momentum Health Solutions since April 2021 and is a member of the New Green Economy 2030 Steering Committee for the Growth Catalyst Fund since March 2020. Previous roles include Medical Doctor at a medical consultancy from January 2021 to January 2023, and at Anglo American from April 2019 to December 2022, where responsibilities encompassed disease management and emergency medicine. Additional experience includes working at Impala Platinum Mine, the Maternal, Adolescent & Child Health Institute, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and Stanger Hospital, focusing on health system strengthening, policy advocacy, and pediatric care. Dr. Maphumulo holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a Master of Pharmacology from the University of Pretoria, and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand.
