Gerrit Ockerse

Gerrit Ockerse has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gerrit began their career in 1997 as a Process Controller at BHP Billiton - Hillside Smelter, where they held the role for 11 years. In 2009, they transitioned to the field of financial advisory and joined Old Mutual as a Financial Advisor. Gerrit later became a Sales Manager before leaving the company in 2014. Gerrit then joined Northern BlueStar as a Business Developer from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Manager at Liberty Life for a year. From 2017 to 2020, Gerrit served as an Account Manager at O2 Business Consulting. Most recently, they worked at Momentum as a Financial Planner from 2019 to 2023, and then as a Franchise Principal at Synergy Life from 2020 to the present.

Gerrit Ockerse earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Mancosa between 2004 and 2008.
