Irshad Caunhye

Irshad Caunhye, FIA, is an experienced actuarial professional with a background in employee benefits and product development. Currently serving as a Team Leader in Product Management and previously as a Senior Actuarial Specialist at Momentum since July 2012, Irshad has developed expertise in insurance pricing. Prior experience includes a role as an Actuarial Specialist at Metropolitan Life, where projects were led under seasoned guidance in the AIDS Risk Consulting unit. Earlier career stages included an internship focused on data handling for actuarial models and work as a Student Assistant at the University of Cape Town. Irshad holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town and has passed all required exams to qualify as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
