Brien Mizell has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a Senior Machinist at Prodigy Woodworks. At this role, they provided managerial oversight on job assignments, scheduling, and supervision, as well as optimizing labor, material and equipment resources to increase work-flow by 75%. Brien also co-designed numerous bars and restaurants in Macon, Georgia. In 2016, Brien moved to Royston LLC as a CNC Programmer, where they spearheaded a change to the training of new-hires that resulted in one-week less of training, a reduction of errors by 75% and speed up workflow by 50%. In 2017, they joined Atlanta Commercial Millwork as a Millwork Engineer, implementing a change to the Change Order flow that decreased unnecessary labor and material costs by 15%. Brien also designed and modeled over 16MM+ Custom commercial furniture specializing in the uniqueness of function and design. In 2018, Brien moved to DigitalCrafts as a Full Stack Developer, completing a rigorous, hands-on Software Engineering curriculum covering software design + development, testing, and deployment. Brien learned a multitude of technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, Redux, and Node. Finally, in 2019, they joined Momnt as a Product Owner and Product and Operations Tech Analyst.

Brien Mizell's education history includes earning a Certification in Full Stack Software Engineering from DigitalCrafts in 2019, a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from San Diego City College in 2011, and an Associate's degree from Georgia State University Perimeter College. In 2019, they also completed a course in Computer Science from HarvardX.
