Lukas van den Burg has a diverse work experience. Lukas began their career in 2011 as an Industrial Designer for Electric Kart Company, where they were responsible for designing the carrosserie of the new model kart, as well as designing technical parts, kart circuits, stickerkits, promotional material, and banners. In 2012, they began working as a part-time Junior Designer for Horizon Creative, where they were responsible for designing and developing beursstands and beursconcepts, resulting in a package of technical drawings, specifications, and renders. Lukas also worked on designing and building LEGO maquettes. In 2016, they began working as a Design Engineer OEM for Snoeks Automotive B.V., where they were responsible for optimizing interior concepts delivered to automakers. Lukas also initiated, supervised, and implemented improvement projects. In the same year, they also worked as a Trainee Productontwikkeling for Carice B.V., where they worked on optimizing and materializing the carrosserie of the Carice Mk1 as an end-of-study project. In 2022, they will begin working as an Implementation Developer for Momo Medical.

Lukas van den Burg obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Industrial Design from the Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag from 2011 to 2016. From 2002 to 2008, they attended Revius Lyceum Doorn and obtained a Gymnasium degree in Natuur & Techniek, Natuur & Gezondheid. Additionally, from 2002 to 2005, they obtained a First Certificate in English from Revius Lyceum Doorn as part of the Twee Talig Onderwijs (TTO) program. Lukas also holds certifications in BASc Industrieel Product Ontwerpen from the De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences (obtained in June 2016), Gymnasium from Revius Lyceum Doorn (obtained in July 2008), and First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge (obtained in August 2005).
