Hua Situ

Hua Situ has extensive work experience in finance, specifically in leadership roles. They started their career as an Accountant at Safavieh Home Furnishings in 2005. They then moved on to Flight 001, where they held the positions of Controller from 2006 to 2010 and VP of Finance from 2011 to 2017. At Flight 001, Hua Situ played a vital role in scaling the business into an omni-channel brand and had a deep understanding of multiple revenue streams. From 2017 to 2021, they served as the Finance Director for North America at Flying Tiger Copenhagen, where they aggressively grew and established the brand in the region while focusing on maximizing EBITDA. Their most recent role is as the Chief Financial Officer at FlatRate Moving, a position they held from February 2021 to August 2021. Currently, Hua Situ is the Director of Finance at Momofuku, a position they started in August 2021.

Hua Situ holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University at Buffalo. Prior to attending university, Hua Situ also attended The Bronx High School of Science. In addition, Hua Situ has obtained several certifications, including Six Sigma Foundations, Business Analytics Foundations: Predictive, Prescriptive, and Experimental Analytics, Financial Forecasting with Big Data, Operational Excellence Foundations, and Sales Forecasting, all from LinkedIn.
