Rachel Bell has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. Rachel began their career as a Lab Manager at UC Berkeley in 2015. In 2018, they held two internships, one as a Graduate Student Intern at Ashby Village and another as a Graduate Student Intern at Berkeley Age Friendly Continuum, where they helped adapt the WHO Age-Friendly World framework to Berkeley, CA, collaborated with local government and nonprofit organizations to collect over 1,400 surveys from Berkeley residents, and incorporated insight from Berkeley city staff interviews, surveys, U.S. Census data, Alameda County data, and focus groups into the action plan recommendations and the implementation guide. In 2019, Rachel held two roles, one as a Program Manager at the University of California, Berkeley and another as a Consultant at the City of Fremont. In 2020, Rachel was a Management Analyst at the County of Santa Clara and a Volunteer Coordinator at NEXT Village San Francisco. Rachel currently holds two roles, one as a Customer Success Manager and another as a Senior Customer Success Manager at Mon Ami, and a Consultant at the City of San Mateo.

Rachel Bell completed their high school education at Miss Hall's School in 2012. Rachel then attended Boston University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience in 2015. In 2017, they obtained a Master of Public Health in Health and Social Behavior from the University of California, Berkeley.
