Beth Horne

Beth Horne has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Beth started their career in 1987 as an Accountant and Office Manager at University Tire/Meredith Tire, where they handled daily sales invoices, accounts payable, payroll, and quarterly payroll tax returns until 1991. From 1991 to 1994, they served as an Accountant/Office Manager at Sundale Nursing Home, overseeing the preparation of the annual operations budget, supervising patients' accounts receivable, and preparing Medicaid Cost Reports.

In 1994, Beth joined Glenmark Genesis as a General Ledger Accountant, responsible for maintaining general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers for nursing facilities and related companies. Beth also provided facilities with knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private billing and collection procedures. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as a Reimbursement Analyst at Glenmark Genesis, maintaining accurate Medicare billing reconciliations and preparing Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports.

Since 1998, Beth has been with Mon Health, initially serving as a Controller, where they provided support to the Accounting Department, assisted in budget preparation, supervised payroll and accounts payable departments, and prepared required reporting forms and reports. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Information Technology Services, responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of the information systems department. Beth maintains and tests operating systems, application software, and system hardware, and installs, configures, and maintains computer hardware and software for the hospital and ancillary facilities.

Beth Horne attended WVU from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In 2012, they also earned a Certificate in Trainer from WV Northern Community College, specifically in the field of Healthcare Information Technology (ARRA).
