Breana Smith (Guinn)

Breana Smith has a diverse work experience that spans over ten years. Breana started their career as a Registration Specialist at WVUH-Ruby Memorial Hospital from June 2010 to March 2012. Following this, they worked as a Clinical Associate at the same hospital from May 2013 to July 2013. In 2015, they interned as a Process Improvement Intern at WVU Hospitals — Ruby Memorial Hospital for ten months. Breana then joined Mon Health in 2016 as a Management Engineer and worked in this role until January 2019. Breana then took on the position of Manager of Strategic Implementation until January 2022. From January 2022 to June 2023, they served as the Service Line Director- Medical Specialties at Mon Health. Currently, they hold the position of Service Line Director, Medical Specialties and Surgical Services at Mon Health, starting from May 2023.

Breana (Guinn) Smith attended West Virginia University from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General. Breana then pursued further education at the same institution from 2013 to 2015, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering. In addition to their academic degrees, Breana also holds certifications in Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, as well as a Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt from WVUMedicine.
