Yuxuan Chen is a software engineer at Monad Labs since January 2023, focusing on BFT Consensus. Prior experience includes a research assistant role at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, contributing to PacketLab under Prof. Kirill Levchenko and publically verifiable e-voting with Intel SGX. Yuxuan has served as a teaching assistant for various engineering courses, including ECE 385 and ECE 391. Previous internships include a software engineering position at Hudson River Trading, where core C++ and Python development skills were utilized, and a system engineer role at WaggleNet, overseeing telemetry protocol design. Additionally, Yuxuan worked as a software engineering intern at Sixie Capital Management, developing a market feed parser framework. Yuxuan holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
