Gokul Mohanarangan

Gokul Mohanarangan is a Machine Learning Engineer at Monadical since June 2023, with previous experience as a Data Scientist at Mitacs, where expertise in NLP and deep learning models, including transformers and GPT architectures, was developed. Prior to that, Gokul worked at SAP Labs India from 2014 to July 2021, where significant contributions included building scalable AI/ML cloud micro-services for clients like Vodafone, Shell, and Sony, leading product development efforts, mentoring developers, and conducting technical bootcamps. Gokul's technical roles at SAP also featured full stack development of IoT-based solutions, remote monitoring systems, and successful migrations of complex software systems. Academically, Gokul holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a Big Data specialization from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
