David Shasha

David Shasha is an experienced real estate finance professional currently serving as an Associate at Monarch Alternative Capital LP since October 2023. Previously, David held positions in real estate private equity at Brookfield Asset Management and worked as an Analyst at Spear Street Capital. David demonstrated leadership as President of the Wharton Undergraduate Real Estate Club, overseeing various committees and liaising with the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center. Additionally, David has been involved in several internships, including roles at Oz Management, Muss Development, and Cotswold Group Inc., focusing on acquisitions and investment analysis. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School.
