Maya Boev is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a diverse background in both pediatric and community therapy settings. Currently working at Monarch House since September 2023, Maya's prior roles include Consultant Occupational Therapist at Grit Psychology & Counselling and Inkblot Therapy, as well as Occupational Therapist at Sahara Rehab Consulting LTD. and TinyEYE Therapy Services. With a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Calgary, Maya has effectively managed various caseloads, providing assessments and implementing treatment plans for clients with chronic and mental health conditions, as well as working closely with families in pediatric contexts. Additionally, experience includes hosting webinars at RT Medical and facilitating occupational therapy at Alberta Health Services.

Monarch House
Monarch House was established in 2009 in British Columbia as an interdisciplinary treatment centre for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Monarch House has now expanded its geographic network and services to include the full range of services for individuals with academic, behaviour, communication, learning, motor, physical, speech, social and mental health needs. Monarch House improves access to required services, coordinates treatment, and focuses on results for individuals of all abilities and understands and responds to changing needs throughout their lifespan. Our professional staff work collaboratively and/or individually with each client and specifically tailor services to their needs. Our services can be provided in our centres, at clients’ homes and schools, in the community, and in specialized housing settings. Working with the fields’ thought leaders, we conduct our own research and are committed to continuous learning to provide the most effective treatments possible.
