Paula Correa is a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant and Mentor at Monarch House, where experience dates back to February 2017, encompassing roles as a Speech Language Pathologist, Behavioural Interventionist, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Paula held research assistant positions at The University of British Columbia's Child Language and Cognition Lab and Simon Fraser University's Language Learning and Development Lab. Practicum experiences in Speech-Language Pathology were completed at Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health Authority in 2022, as well as with The Asante Centre. Paula served as a teacher at Immaculate Conception School and received the NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award in 2019. A Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology was obtained from The University of British Columbia, following a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Simon Fraser University. Presentations were made at the Language Sciences Undergraduate Research Conference in 2019 and 2020.
