Alistair Thomson

Alistair Thomson has over 20 years of experience in environmental health, safety, and compliance across both private and public sectors in New Zealand. They served as an Environmental Health Officer in local government for five years and spent seven years with Maritime New Zealand specializing in small craft safety and recreational boating. Following this, Alistair held roles in domestic maritime transport and tourism, focusing on HSE, operations, and general management. Currently, Alistair is the GM People and Safety at Monarch Platform, supporting various teams with an emphasis on critical risk controls and human organizational performance.
