Anna joined Monash Health in 2009 as a senior project manager in capital projects and steadily took on more responsibility. Immediately prior to being appointed Acting Executive Director, Anna had strategic oversight of the entire capital portfolio across all projects, including the Victorian Heart Hospital and the Clayton Emergency Department expansion. Anna builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, is skilled in risk mitigation, and is passionate about sustainable development and improving the condition of assets to ensure the best care for the community. Originally training as a nurse, Anna held a particular interest in infectious diseases, community health and development, and emergency and intensive care. She travelled to Mumbai, India, in the 1990s to develop, implement and evaluate a primary health care program in disadvantaged areas.
