Monash Motorsport
Sam Lindsay is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical systems and powertrain engineering, currently serving as E-Powertrain Senior Engineer and Head of Electrical Systems at Monash Motorsport since March 2022. In addition, Sam holds the position of Engineering Intern at SPEE3D and works as a Design 1 Teaching Associate at Monash University. Prior experience includes roles at Hypower (Aust.) PTY LTD as a Factory Worker, where manufacturing and testing of hydraulic cylinders was a focus, and as a Tyre Fitter at Tyrepower. Sam is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University, expected to graduate in November 2025, following completion of VCE at Hillcrest Christian College from 2015 to 2020.
Monash Motorsport
Monash Motorsport is a student-run, not-for-profit racing team based out of Monash University in Clayton, Victoria. The program is designed to develop practical knowledge and provide invaluable experience for students across all faculties through the design, manufacture and racing of an open-wheeled car in the world’s largest student engineering design competition, Formula SAE. Monash Motorsport currently designs, manufactures, tests and races in the Driverless and Electric categories.
