Chantel Costa possesses extensive experience in partnerships and legal roles, currently serving in partnerships for Monday Girl, a network aimed at empowering young female professionals in Toronto. Previously, Costa worked as an articling student and summer student at Gowling WLG, alongside legal research as a research assistant at Western University, focusing on the intellectual property rights of artificial intelligence. In addition to legal experience, Costa co-founded LifeCrates and LoveYourNeighbor, aimed at providing community support during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a strong background in blockchain and decentralized AI development through roles at DAIA and TODAQ, Costa also founded CodeGirlTO to promote tech education for women from low-income backgrounds. Educationally, Costa has achieved a Doctor of Law (JD), a Master of Arts (MA) in International Relations, and an Honors Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Western University, complemented by studies at Université Grenoble Alpes.
