Ahmed Afifi

Ahmed Afifi is a seasoned operations leader with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as the Director of Operations at Mondelēz International since January 2014. Throughout a successful career, Ahmed has held various key positions, including Senior Operations Manager for the Chicago Plant and Continuous Improvement Cluster Lead for North America. Previous experience includes leadership roles in the Middle East and Africa as the FI Lead and BEA Integrated Lean Six Sigma Lead. Earlier in the career, Ahmed worked at Pirelli as a Senior Electrical Engineer and at Powermaint as a Field Service Engineer. Ahmed holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering (Power & Automatic Controls) from Alexandria University, as well as a diploma in Energy Management and Systems from Schneider Electric.
