Kevin Akaloo

Kevin Akaloo currently serves as the Vice President of Global Health Safety & Environment at Mondelēz International, a position held since May 2011. In this role, Kevin leads the global safety agenda for 422 facilities and oversees the safety of over 130,000 individuals. Key responsibilities include developing safety strategies, implementing programs to enhance compliance, and driving culture change within the organization. Prior experience includes senior roles at Kraft Foods and South African Breweries, where Kevin focused on safety and environmental management. Kevin's career began at BHP as an Operations Superintendent, and academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree and Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
