Ayanda Nteta

Ayanda Nteta is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management within the energy and environmental sectors. Currently serving as the Category Head for Energy and Environment at Mondi Group since March 2020, Ayanda focuses on strategic sourcing for essential resources including coal, heavy fuel oil, gas, water, and electricity, while implementing cost-saving initiatives to enhance manufacturing profitability. Prior to this role, Ayanda founded and directed Pula Consulting, offering expertise in energy, mining, and supply chain strategy. Previous positions include Senior General Manager at Eskom Holdings, where management of a multi-billion coal supply chain and budget responsibilities were key achievements. Additional roles include Regional Sourcing Manager at Sappi and Sourcing Manager at Absa, coupled with a doctoral degree in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa.
